The Swedish massage was developed by Per Henrik Link. He is considered the Father of
Physical Therapy. He developed techniques that worked the body with a system of movements
used to stimulate healing, reduce pain and improve overall well-being.
Prior to the massage you will consultation with me and together we will determine the
areas to focus on while receiving your massage. Your Swedish Massage will include gliding
strokes, kneading and/or tapping movements which are designed to promote relaxation,
improve circulation and oxygen in the blood, and improve flexibility.
All massages include the use of either Hot Towels, Hot Stone warmer treatment and if
you would like essential oil(s) that will be included as well.
Monarch Massage doesn’t charge extra for these add on items as these are all tools that
are used to enhance your massage experience. The goal is to make you feel pampered to the
fullest while providing you the best massage experience at an affordable price. Happy clients
